Fordømte Læber

Seven acting students from the Danish national school of performing Arts (DDSKS) in Odense and three students from the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Southern Denemark (SDMK) have joined forces to create a 75-minute music theatre performance featuring songs by the Russian guitar poets Vladimir Vysotsky and Yuri Kim.

Over the years, these Russian guitar poets have been both celebrated and banned by the Russian authorities. Through simple melodies, chords and lyrics, they address some of life’s biggest themes.

The lyrics have been translated into Danish by Per Warming and interwoven with selected lines from the poetry of Inger Christensen, which also form part of the musical universe.
