Deep in the African jungle, a group of soldiers wages an endless war against an unknown enemy. No one can remember why the war began anymore, and an end to the conflict seems impossible. In the darkness of the jungle, the soldiers’ imaginations run wild, and they find it increasingly difficult to distinguish reality from fantasy. Sex becomes the only way to tell the soldiers apart from the shape-shifting aliens who have infiltrated the platoon.
For a Better World was written by Roland Schimmelpfennig, one of Europe’s greatest living playwrights, and this is the first time the play has been performed in Denmark.
